Future Technology awarded frame agreement with Bane NOR SF
The Sandefjord-based engineering company Future Technology has received a four-year (2 + 1 + 1) frame agreement with Bane NOR SF within SHA-work. This implies that they shortly will be out searching for more engineers and other skilled personnel.
The company Future Technology has its main weight within oil, gas and energy industry. As the offshore industry has maintained a standstill with lower growth in recent times, it was natural for the company to look for other markets when they have more staff with high expertise within health, safety and environment (HSE and OHS). With the huge growth that happens in land-based infrastructure such as road development, railroads and electrical energy, the company identified a possibility to grow.
There are many commonalities between HSE expertise in offshore and onshore activities. Land-based infrastructure can receive a lot of knowledge from the offshore-related industry. This industry is working under extremely demanding conditions and are very dependent on the inherent safety for all its employees in every situation. A great part of the key to the offshore industry delivers first class projects is that they already from the early project phase, prepares and implements detailed systems and procedures for HSE.
Future Technology has, in addition to the contract with the Bane NOR SF, also won frame agreements with Oslo University Hospital and Statnett.
